S.A.M.R. stands for SUBSTITUTION, AUGMENTATION, MODIFICATION and REDEFINITION. This model allows teachers to see what depth of knowledge students are using. Like anyone swimming in the ocean, it can change in the drop of a hat. Many teachers first dip their tow into technology by using it as a substitution for something they already did. That is perfectly fine! Before you can dive deep and redefine your work you must first see many templates before your confidence is high enough to jump on in. Special thanks goes out @edappadvice and @sylviaduckworth for creating this easy to read reference guide for the model.
